I have a 2004 Mountain Aire on a W22 with intermittent instrument/dash lights all going out for just a couple of seconds while driving. There is absolutely no problem with the engine performance, no cut out, etc. The alarm for the jacks also sounds, the seat belt warning lights up and the speed odmeter goes to zero. This has been a day one problem and has happen about six (6) times in the past three (3) years / 25K driven. Any help with others that may have had this same problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regarding your Actia IP, I would suggest that you go to your Workhorse service center. They will evaluate the problem and most likely replace the IP at no cost to you. I have not heard of any owners with IP problems that have not had a successful outcome in obtaining a replacement IP.
Please come back and visit us again and please post often.

More likely you have a bad ground connection to the chassis frame. I had very similar symptoms a few years back and all were fixed by cleaning and tightening all instrument and engine ground points.

This is however a task that is not easily accomplished by the average owner and the diagnostic track pursued by the service center will most likely rule out this possibility via the published procedures.

DriVer & abarkl,
Again, thanks for your advice and input. I've contacted Dean at our local Workhorse Cincinnati, OH (West Chester Area), and have made an appointment next week to have all of the ground areas inspected, cleaned and re-tightened. Dean's assessment also was that it could be a ground problem. Dean and his co-workers have always provided excellent and professional service on past problems/issues that I've had.
