Is This an AC Pressure Switch

Wondering what this switch is. It is on my drier for the AC.

Nope, it's the switch for the A/C. AC = electric. (alternating Current)
This is done to keep us all on the same page.

And here I thought AC was Air Canada!!

That is your LOW pressure gas switch, that switch has to be made (contacts closed) before the compressor clutch will engage. The HIGH gas pressure switch is located on the rear of the compressor.
