Have a look at the electrical connector underneath on the side of the trans.
See red trans fluid?
You shouldn't. If you do you'll have to drop the pan and replace the wiring harness. It's a known issue on the 4L80E trans. They'll crack on the inside allowing trans fluid into the connector shorting out circuit/s.

My OD was kicking out after about 10 minutes of driving and the it would also stall at stops... ended up having to have the trans rebuilt.

Do you remember the code/s the computer threw?
A rebuild on a 4L80E with 5X, XXX milrs seems very questionable to me. They are very stout transmissions.
Some other things that can cause the described issue are.
1. TPS sensor
2. VSS sensor (front or rear)
3. Misadjusted cruise control arm.
4. Force actuator valve
5. DRAC module

No way your running 1900 rpms (in OD) with the 4L80E and that RV. More like 2500-2700rpms. It isn't a pick up truck. LOL!

I had a similar problem on my 93 . If I reset the codes , the tranny would work good for a few minutes, then shift out of overdrive and would not shift past 3rd gear after that. It turned out to be a defective speed sensor on the tranny , easily accessible from the outside . Mine had 2 , the later ones used only 1. There was a list of codes, none which pointed to the speed sensors.

What RV make/model?
In a car and/or pick 1900rpm perhaps but a 25 foot plus RV? No way in hell will you cruise at highway speed at 1900rpms. You don't have an Allison trans.

Something up with your tach. My 28 foot 454 w/4L80E has always run roughly 2500-2800 rpm @60mph. Always...as in since bought new. Now with 71,XXX miles on it.

My 32 ft 93 with a 4L80E runs about 2000 rpm @ 60 mph. It will run 2500 - 2800 in 3rd gear @ 60 mph.

Always thought it was an oxymoron with these big rigs and 4 speed (3 w/OD). With a slight grade, tow and/or headwind into 3rd you go. It's always been my belief that even when not towing you're towing in this era rig (454 w/4L80E).
