How often should the MAF sensor be cleaned?

Thanks,

Ron

I cleaned it when I changed my air filter.

Not to hijack this tread but what are good numbers from the MAF on the ScanGauge? On a recent trip at about 800ft and 70F when I would go up a hill and be running 4k rpm; MAF read 220-230 but at 60MPH on the flat and around 2k rpm it was all over the place 100 down to 40 or so. Is there a "good" number at normal down the highway speeds?

Those numbers sound good. At wide open throttle you want to be seeing 230+ g/s

I clean mine whenever I am accessing the air filter.

This is probably a dumb question

Does the Scan Gauge II MAF show you when to change the filter?

Thanks,

Ron
