Need Shocks
I noticed that my left front shock is leaking. it has been bouncing around a lot for the last few years so I thought I would change them. What kind should i get? Where to order them from? Thank You

I can’t speak to actual experience, but from my research it appears that Koni is the overall consensus for best shocks for the workhorse chassis

I installed KYB Gas a Just on our '97 P30. 15k miles so far. I really like the ride and control compared to the Koni shocks that I took off. Bouncing off of ski jump bridge decks is a lot less and bump hammering is much improved. Bonus is that they run about 1/3rd or less than the cost of Konis.

Koni shocks........that is what just installed on my 2021 Entegra Vision. Go to the Koni website and look up your year and chassis model to find the front and rear shock part numbers than purchase on-line or from your favorite tire / shock shop.

I installed Konis on my prior Workhorse and now my DP. I purchased both sets from Ultra RV Products. They will verify fitment with your VIN and they’re one of the last places that specializes in Workhorse support and parts.

Shocks for RVs are fun. Only a few options that seem to really work. Now only one offers custom tuning and can change valving if needed.

I will put in my 2 cents as well.. I changed from Blisten to Koni on my 04 Bounder and noticed a huge difference in overall ride and handling. Major improvement !!

Were your Bilsteins what came on the coach originally, or aftermarket? I understand that they are not the same. Supposedly the original shocks were built to Workhorse specs and that Bilstein changed them for the aftermarket. Must be true as I read it on the Internet.

Another vote for Koni FSD shocks if money is no object, I swapped the original Bilsteins for these at about 75,000 miles and they were a noticeable improvement.

My 2003 W20 Chassis' shocks were completely shot when I bought the coach with 42K miles.
So I did a little research and found an article similar to THIS. Because the article attempted to be a side by side comparison I assumed it was less biased than testimonials of people who bought one brand or another. Based on this article I bought Bilstein shocks.
I am now > 60K miles and I am still happy with my choice. I notice several people commenting on harshness on bridge transitions. I don't notice that so much. Maybe the shocks...maybe i'm insensitive!

2001 Fleetwood Flair with P32 chassis, Super Steer Front Coil Springs.
I have tried the following shocks over the last 20 years.
Factory Bilsteins
KYB Gas A Just
Monroe Magnums
Koni
By far the best ride has been with the Koni Shocks. Front only.
Purchased from Shock Warehouse.

I've have Monroe's, KYB's, and Bilistiens. Like Koni's the best.

Koni's for me too. I replaced the stock Bilstein's after about 10,000 miles. Ride is better with way less harshness.
