P32 hydro brake system

I have a 01 P32 motorhome with less then 40k miles on it. The other day coming back from the beach I lost almost all brakes. Pedal went to the floor but still have a very little bit of brakes to use. I limped it off the interstate and had it towed to a repair shop and drove my jeep home from there. they are saying that they Hydro booster is bad and needs replaced. When i was parked off the road the pedal would still go to the floor but would not return without pulling it up off the floor. There is a no connection with the normal brake system and the auto park i assume? was quoted about $1200 to replace the hydro booster.

No the service brakes are totally separate from the park brake. From your description I would say the shop has accurately diagnosed the issue. I would recommend replacing the master cylinder at the same time and flushing the brake fluid completely.

thanks that is what I thought. The reason I asked is that my GF had driven the coach a short distance with the parking brake on a few weekends before the brake issue. I guess my other question does $1200 sound about right for the repair parts and labor?

If your GF could drive it with the parking ( Emergency ) brake on, I would have the shop look at that also. It should hold enough that someone would, at least, know something is wrong.
