Pinion arm fractured

Driving motorhome to house after about 150 miles last Thursday. Started to make turn by house and heard a clunk. Suddenly no steering. Pinion arm fractured and broken into 2 pieces. Next day began to think of what could have happened at 60 mph on hill, curvy road, and over a riverbank along the way. 149,000 miles on a 2002 P32 chassis. Guess the Lord has something in store for us.

That is hair-raising. I wonder if you could post a picture of the failed part. I suspect others would be interested as well.
