Does anyone have the part # for the serpentine belt for the Workhorse W22 with the 8.1 L engine. I couldn't find the number in all of my literature. It does show the routing of the belt. I'm thinking that the belt should be the same for 2002 and 2003 engines. Thanks for any help.

What I have listed in my notes is a Gates
25-061080. I have never replaced mine, so maybe others have.

Had to replace my belt at 9000 miles. Fell apart while on a trip. I carry a spare now. Will give you part # next time I go out to MH. Got my belt at a NAPA store.

aldev, I picked up a belt at Autozone for the Workhorse, it waa a Kelly Springfield, part number 1080K6 Main thing to know is that the belt is 108 inches long.

OK when WCC replaced my belt. They put a Gates k061675 ON. I found a belt for a spare at NAPA 061075.

Odd that two different Gates part numbers have been given here - Gates k061675 & Gates
25-061080. I suppose they both of those could be nearly the same length - there is probably enough movement in the tensioner pulley to allow for 1/2 inch or so of length difference. Or perhaps WCC changed the belt length in a later model year? Does anybody have an idea? In quiring minds want to know...

No but the WCC repair shop tried several belts before they found one that worked. OEM belt died at 9000 miles. 40,000 on new belt so far so good.

If you are going to buy a spare, do it the smart way. Put the new belt on while you are still in civilization and keep the old one for a spare. That way you won't have to change a belt on the roadside in the rain and you can easly take the belt back to the parts store if it doesn't fit.

I just purchase a new serpentine belt. The Gates # is 25-061080. That is the same as the belt that came on my MH. The number on the factory belt is W0000581---21 x 2760. The 21 is the width of belt in centimeters and 2760 is the length in centemeters. 2760cm is equal to 108 inches. The Gates no indicates that it is 108 inches long.
