Serpentine Belt

I have a 2007 Bounder on a workhorse chassis. Do I need to use a genuine Workhorse belt or will an aftermarket brand work.

I agree, I really doubt Workhorse ever built their own belts, most likely they bought them from the low bidder out of the major belt manufacturers (Gates, Goodyear, etc.) then marked up the price.

I just installed a Continental Gator-trax belt. Ordered from Summit Racing. Very quiet running so far.

To answer your question. Yes, a aftermarket belt will work just fine. Being a 2007 model, i would assume it is a "W" series Workhorse Chassis. If that is the case, it should be 108 belt. Here is a web site that will list some of the part number that should work. Just look under the section called "RV Chassis Part W Series." Oemy's Web Site -
