Serpentine Belt

I have a 2007 Bounder on a workhorse chassis. Do I need to use a genuine Workhorse belt or will an aftermarket brand work.

I use Gates belts on my 8.1.

I agree, I really doubt Workhorse ever built their own belts, most likely they bought them from the low bidder out of the major belt manufacturers (Gates, Goodyear, etc.) then marked up the price.

Napa green stripe belts seem to be the best.....

I just installed a Continental Gator-trax belt. Ordered from Summit Racing. Very quiet running so far.

To answer your question. Yes, a aftermarket belt will work just fine. Being a 2007 model, i would assume it is a "W" series Workhorse Chassis. If that is the case, it should be 108 belt.
