Shock and rear track bar , Wow!

Getty ready for a trip to CO. And decided to put new Koni’s and a ultra track bar on, easy install and a night and day difference in ride and drivability. Wag the tail is gone . And the ride is nice ! I had to slow down just to let Semi trucks pass me.That being said I could get a speeding ticket now , sway is all but gone as I was in a cross wind and clover leaf driving is great . Don’t know if I would add another component to this old but new to me motor home . For all the reading in this forum I thank you , learning about tire psi was enlightening and makes a big big difference. A TPMS system may be my next add on.

Those adds made all the difference on my Ford chassis. And I would highly recommend a quality TPMS for peace of mind at least.

It surely would be nice to know what make, year and model coach these parts were installed on and a little more about it in general.

Looks like he has an ‘03 Mountain Aire on a W22 chassis.

I had similar results with our GeorgieBoy Landau (below) pulling a Wrangler JK (4 door). Did the UltraPower ECM/TCM upgrade and Ultra’s rear trac-bar (coach already had Saf-T-Steer).

Then took 2500 mile trip from Dallas thru New Mexico, Colorado, to Hebron, UT and back. Similar handling results as noted by the OP.

If I kept the speed below 60, ~7mpg.

Trac bars were the first mods I did on m W-22, and they entirely eliminated the tail-wagging-the-dog problem for me too.
