Spam filters and AutoPark help

Chalk this one up to old age and the cranky/grumpy attitude that goes with it - - at least at my house.

I have a sort of hangup about being asked for information and/or favors and then being asked to fill out some stupid form in order to fulfill the request. Somehow, that just rubs the bear fur the wrong way. I hate spam as much as the next guy but I don't much care to fill out a permission slip to give free help to people.

Just my vent for the day. The AutoPark Library is still here to help, and all the info is free. Ring kissing ain't included in the package though.

ROGER: You are not alone.

I get a lot of notices mostly from folks using EarthLink email service telling me that EarthLink can't deliver my email to them because they use EarthLink's spam blocker.

Well, it becomes their loss, because I've got better things to do than jump thru all the hoops THEY put in place to make their life easier. It isn't that difficult to just ignore unwanted emails, or delete them without opening.
End of rant.

Hopefully, some of these folks will realize they are missing info because of this practice of auto-blocking every email address that is not already in their address book.

Roger,

You just keep being you. We would vote for you for President. I'd like you no matter which way your fur was pointing. You helped me a lot and I'll never forget it.

Some people just do not realize the problems they create at times, it's their loss.
