Streets & Trips 2010 - NEW POI - Workhorse Authorized Service Centers
Workhorse Chassis Owners
If you are a current owner of Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010, (ONLY) you can download and use a file called MEGA POI (points of interest) and see the location of and navigate to the any push pin location from anywhere in the country.
Here is the file:
Streets2010_POI_MegaFile.July.est (18.93 MB, 1484 views)
Included in this push pin set for the first time is the complete listing (+/- 1%) of all the Workhorse Authorized Service Centers in the United States, Alaska and Canada. Using the push pin set you can see immediately where the WASC is located and how to get there using the navigation functions of Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010.
If you have S&T10 on your machine at this time, click on the filename above and it'll automatically start S&T10 and display the POI. There is a temporary instruction box on the map that will tell you how to use the push pin sets. Once loaded, save the POI (Save As) to your local machine so you can quickly retrieve it.
There are 224 individual push pin sets of all types including FCCC and Spartan but NOT Ford. Flying J, Petro, TA, Loves, CAT Scales, Ryans, Low Bridges, Rest Stops, Campgrounds etc. etc. etc.
I enjoyed working on this project and I expect that the WASC POI set will be updated as I receive new listings from Workhorse.
The MEGA POI file is located at the Laptop GPS World website. I would encourage you to subscribe (join) so that you will be notified when the August POI file becomes available.
You are going to like the MEGA POI, I guaranteee ....
If you do not own Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010, this might be a good reason to go out and buy one.

How about exporting the pins as a CSV file (Comma Seperated Date) so it can be imported into several programs.. INCLUDING older S&T like I have.

DriVer.
When I clicked on the link it only allowed me to save it to the desktop, it didn't open the 2010 version of S&T. However, when I open the one I saved from the link, THEN it opens S&T and there is the explanation. Is this what you meant?

I have Windows 7 and I got an option to "OPEN" the file. When you open the file it assumes an association with S&T so that application will automatically start.

Unless some one is feeding them up to date data I can't say for sure how accurate the POIs will be.
I will try to keep up with the new releases.

Get GPS Utility to convert it to what ever format you want. There is a free version the limits the size of the file you can feed it.
