In recent postings there has been talk of an adapter for the Henderson bar because of reinforcement required for attaching to drive axel. Also torque of 120' lbs to hold everything together seems high to me, my spec sheet says 70 to 85'lbs.

This spec was received from Workhorse by Ralph Andrews of Pioneer Metal Works, developer of the Super Steer rear trac bar.The recall is to keep the axle bracket from coming loose & loosing rear axle oil. There have been a few that came loose, that is the reason for the change.Torque the bolts to the new spec & use some green locktite too!

Brazelsrv,

Do you can to comment on the cost of the SS Trac Bar... I built one for $70 in retail parts. I used double Heim joints so I don't have to remove the bar to adjust it (which should'nt normally be necessary).

Also, is there any place closer to Texas that might do the Ultra Power update?
