Triple e Commander brake calipers issue

Happy to be part of group , wife and I just bought our first motor home .Its an 04 triplee Commander on a workhorse chassis . Wondering if anyone has had any problems with brake calipers sticking . Is this a reoccurring problem or not .The unit is parked for another month and I'm concerned about some stuff I read on the internet

You've come to the right place to "read all about it." I would suggest that you consider flushing your brake fluid as an immediate need to do, be aware of the need to use select shifting when ever practical and employ the use of a working auxiliary brake on a towed vehicle.

njoylife: Welcome to iRV2.com, and the Workhorse forum in particular.

To see all that is available from Workhorse, please go to : http://www.workhorse.com/Default.aspx?tabid=185 and use the "resource center" box to access the page with all the info about the brake problem. You'll also find a Vin # box where you enter your chassis vin and get feedback from Workhorse regarding "if" yours is included in the pending recall.

Unless you know the dealer from whom you purchased it has already done so, You MUST contact Workhorse to become registered as "second owner" so YOU will receive the recall notice when it is mailed, and not the original owner.

You have bought the "best" of motorhomes. The brakes are a problem but follow Driver's advice and all should be well.
I had to replace all of my rotors back in 2005 but have flushed my system, learned to drive with the transmission etc. and all is well for now. I just ordered an Empress Elite. Hope to pick it up when I get back to Canada. Hate to let the old girl go.
If you want to see the many modifications I have done to my coach - ask.
