Hi Guys
My first post here after many hours of reading old posts and especially the extra long brake issues. A lot of good information from very experienced owners.

My question is was there a change in the turning radius on the workhorse chassis at some time and if so when was it made. My first MH was a 89 Pace Arrow on a 454 P30? chassis and would not turn nearly as short as my current WH. The WH will almost go sideways if you crank it around all the way which is wonderful for those tight areas we sometimes get into.

Have Fun
Rick

RickNB, you didn't state the year model of your motorhome, but assuming it is newer than mid 2004 Workhorse, I believe the turning radius was reduced to 55 degrees. I know my 2004 Allegro on 2003 chassis does not have this tighter radius. Wish it did!

Welcome to the forum.

RICKNB: WELCOME to iRV2.com We are glad you joined and posted.

To answer your question, the early model W series chassis had a 45 degree "cramp angle" or wheel cut. The optional 8,500# axle and all chassis built after August 28th 2002 had a 47 degree cut. Starting January 6th, 2004 ALL W-series chassis have a 50 degree wheel cut. ED
