DriVer and Ed,

I think both of you hit the proverbial nail on the head.

DriVer,

After a closer look at the Latitude, I did notice the front cap and the cabinetry. I guess most folks would prefer the angles of the cap be in the cabinets and vice versa. Still, not too bad considering the reduced price.

None the less, I think you are spot on in your analysis. It makes perfect sense.

Ed,

I recently made another post and saw what I had done wrong. In my haste, I saw "POLL" as POST". I guess that says it all.

Thanks to you both,
Steve

FWIW, I think the heavily discounted Destination / Lattitude models are a great value if either of the two floor plans work for you. The Limited model Adventurer is also available in the same two floor plans, but with a more tradatiional interior and a different front cap. The 26K UFO is the big attraction in my book. ED

I wish I could agree. My local dealer often removes the Winnebago sticker and puts on their own. Not all the time, mostly at shows. Disgusting.

Winnebago will provide anyone with an MSRP worksheet for any model though. They'll email or fax it right while you're on the phone.

And to keep this post on topic, my local dealer has quite a few Destination/Latitudes. They just aren't selling. They have them on ebay for "their cost" (quoting them of course - hard to say what that means).
