Mike, There's no need for a repeater BUT if necessary, they give you a long extension cord with a remote antenna in the kit. You can sneak the wire down through the doghouse or other hole and secure the antenna mid-frame and tie wrap the wire in place.

We have recently installed TST system in 38 ft DP and toad (10 sensors). Works well without extender when it works well.

For most it's not necessary if they get the Dually Valves oriented properly during installation.
Instructions are included telling the installers how to stack the two tires before tightening the nuts so the inside DV is centered in the outside hand hold. Some don't bother reading them however.

The only thing that could be considered a mod was the addition of the rubber grommets on the outer wheel cover to stabilize the inner tire's valve stem.

Other than that, no grinding or other adjustments were necessary.

We ran several years with the dually stems on our previous gasser. Great product and the company is concerned with your level of satisfaction.

If you order a set and use a powered balancing product be sure to ask for the appropriate screened stems. They will include them at no extra charge.

We also used the TST monitors along with the dually stems. They will also provide the appropriate wheel-slot rubber grommets as long as they know which wheel you have. You may need to trace the opening on a piece of paper to send them as there are many different wheel suppliers being used today
