when i return from a ride if i leave the m/h running and go to the rear i hear a hissing sound coming from somewhere by the gas tank. sounds almost like a air leak. i went under the rear of the m/h and it sounds like again from the tank but cannot pinpoint it. anyone else have this sound and if so any ideas what it is?
thanks

Put your ear to the fuel tank cap and see if it is coming from there. It may be venting of pressure in the tank.

Joelyn,

I get a similar sound from my fuel tank that I'm pretty sure is the fuel pump running. You can test your noise by having someone turn ignition on but don't start engine. While that is being done The fuel pump will cycle on for several seconds and then shut off. Listen to that sound, it may be the sound you are asking about.

joelyn, I've noticed the same hissing sound, had me confused at first. Then I realized it was the sound of the engine up front, being channeled back beneath the coach. The hissing was actually the whirring of the fan blade and fan belts. Test for yourself, you'll see.
