W22 air filter
Trying to find (retail) an air filter for my 2005 Winnebago 38J workhorse 8.1L Vortec engine. I tried Pep Boys and looked in the catalog for a Chevy in 2005 that had the Vortec. The filter it recommended was the worng size - too big.
Has anyone gotten the air filter at their local auto parts chain? Part number?
Thanks in advance!

i am using a K&N gauze panel air filter on my w-20, 8.1 L. it fits well in my stock airbox. the part number is 33-2062-1. the dimensions are: 16 x 7.875 x 1.5 inches. it is a low restriction air filter and can be cleaned and reused.
i got mine from SCHUCKS AUTO SUPPLY.

Richard, The NAPA Gold air filter for the Workhorse airbox is an excellent filter.

I have the same K&N also and love it, I could not find a good deal on ebay so I found a discount coupon here: K&N 33-2062-1, or you can try one of the vendors on the forum here, you can usually find a good deal that way as well. This was very easy to install and I love it.

I use a K&N on my towed...but I think not on the Workhorse.
I got two OEM filters from WH and one is in storage (Basement) till it's needed
