I found this old post with the exact same RV, same model as well!

http://irv2.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8626012545/m/...701082562#2701082562

Seems like the multifunction switch in the steering column does fail occasionally.

I PMed Sal to see if his WH chassis was a 2004 (as mine is) or a 2005...no answer yet.

UPDATE: All lights working properly on RV except for hazard flashers...suspect multifunction switch in steering column, appointment next Wed. at WCC Service Center in Vineland...a truck center. (WCC Service Center Meyers RV told me today my wait would be at least three weeks, and they don't stock the part...why I hate RV dealers).

My local RV/trailer service guy checked all my Jeep wiring and a light bar I had (used to use on a Mazda pickup...using now for testing) for proper operation, all okay.

I had him wire me up two 6 way round to 4 way flat connector lines 4' long to use with the new RV...they both have no brake lights working connected to the RV tow hitch outlet to the light bar or Jeep toad. I pulled and inspected the RV 6 way round connector, wiring looks a little different...gonna take the RV and the light bar to my service guy tomorrow to get to the bottom of this issue...

After DriVer's refresher course on fuse testing, I just checked every fuse in the WH interior fuse panel and the WH engine/outside fuse panel and all are good!

I can't find any other fuse possibilities that are causing my tow hitch wiring/plug to not work properly...did I miss any, you Fleetwood owners?

GerryB54 - That multifunction switch is a good candidate for the problem. We have two Chevy work trucks on the farm and within two years both trucks have the same problem that you are having, no hazard flashers. Everything else works, just no flashers. The Chevy tech told me that switch is around $100 so I haven't replaced them, the trucks are on the farm most of time anyway. I have been too busy or lazy to go to a salvage yard to see if I can find the switch.

UPDATE:

I do have a service appointment with Gallo Truck Sales (WCC Service Center), Vineland, NJ next Wednesday.

Started wondering if it is the multifunction switch as is suspected, do they have it in stock and if not, how long to wait for it?

Called WCC tech support, on hold w/recordings over 10 minutes, then disconnected...not good...

Called Gallo Truck Sales, spoke with Chris in service, explained that a revered Workhorse consultant helped me troubleshoot this problem, and the multifunction switch is suspected. Gave him my VIN number, confirmed warranty start date, he then took my number to call me back after checking on the part...has had trouble with WCC parts because you know why...

Called back a half hour later (wow) and they have the part in stock, started a ticket for me on it to hold the part, and I'll be going down to Vineland Wednesday to hopefully put this issue to rest!

So far, Gallo Truck Sales is doing excellent, but we'll wait for the end result before I post to the Workhorse website.

I will be taking the Jeep toad (with all lights working) just in case it's something else and I have to leave it there...that would be bad...maybe I'll just bring it back till they have what they need,,,thinking too far ahead...but I don't want to
miss my possible Weekend with Captain Bud and Ruth...

Also, have resolved the tow hitch electrical plug issue with the help of my local trailer wiring company...Fleetwood to blame, but all is well now...

Anyway, things are looking up!

Ask Bud about my 65 mph tech support call he had with his foot brake switch.

Most important...just replaced my ice maker and waiting now to see ice production (new unit passed all tests). WCC would not warranty this item for me. I think it runs from the power takeoff on the engine...

Gerry When you get to Gallo do not get upset if the want to keep the coach to work on it. Talk with Chris and let him know you need it for the weekend. He is really a nice guy and will work with you any way possible. He most likely will use a GMC part.

When I lived in NJ I used them for my MH service

I have a 03' and my flasher has also been acting up. I noticed that if I pull up on the switch they come on.
