Has Workhorse eliminated the big W25.5 chassis, with 6.13 rear end, from it's lineup???

Good question. I don't see the W25.5 on their web site anymore. Maybe DriVer or Ed Gray can let us know. It would make sense if they discontinued it since IMO, the UFO is a whole lot better.

The UFO is quite the machine however I believe that the W25.5 still remains a choice for the OEMs - not that anyone of us can buy one - and when the chassis is needed, WCC can certainly run a few through the assembly line.

A W25.5 gets the taller gear(6.14), 1K more GAWR(R)-(16.5K) an extra cross member in the rail and a rear track bar. Aside from that just about everything else remains the same.

(Add headers and distinctive instrumentation and badging and the W25.5 could be an SSC)

The W25.5 is in the current marketing brochure along with the W24 and features a 5 year / 100,000 mile, limited powertrain warranty.

MIKE: The Tiffin website shows their 2008 Allegro Bay 37QDB and 38TGB floor plans offered on the W25.5 chassis. The 2007 Newmar Mountain Aire coaches were all available ONLY on the W25.5, but they dropped the entire MACA product for their 2008 model year. Their new Grand Star "replacement"(it ain't, IMO)product only uses the W-24 or Fred.

Until Tom's OP, I was unaware the W25.5 did not show on the WCC website. However, since "Custom" is still their middle name, I'm sure WCC will be glad to build as many W25.5 chassis as a coach builder would like to order.
