Mike welcome to irv2
ON the side wall next to drivers seat should have a sticker with coach vin#, axel ratings, tire inflations and maybe the chassis type. If you post your vin# someone can tell you what chassis is if not on sticker. "007"

The Vin is 1GBKP37N6R3311360
I called Fleetwood and they gave me Chevrolet number.I gave chevy the vin and they told me they needed another number from a sticker in the glove box or near the e-brake.I have no glove box and there are no other stickers except for the one in the bedroom closet.I think she called it a sids[?]sticker and it should start with the letters CP.I have also crawled around under the coach to see if there was anything on the frame and found nothing.

The answer to your question is: You have a P30 Chassis.

The only gas motor homes with independent front suspension are built on Workhorse P Series chassis.

1. Bilstein® premium gas-charged shock absorbers virtually eliminate excessive sway, bouncing and wallowing.

2. Bilstein® steering damper improves straight-line stability and reduces steering wheel vibration.

3. Heavy-duty front anti-sway bar improves handling and adds stability when cornering.

4. Michelin® XRV tires are the first tires designed to improve motor home driving performance.

5. With its 83-inch front-end track, the chassis has a wider track than any competing motor home.

NOTE: Wide Track Independent Front Suspension is not available on 14,800 lb. GVWR model.

Mike Brez,

Generally a P32 has four wheel disc brakes and 19.5" tires. Also the highest rated P30 was 12800 lbs.GVW,the chassis you have is 16500 lbs. Also a major difference is the dual piston Saginaw steering gear, the P30's were all single piston.A sure fire way to tell is the lower control arm shaft, the P30 has a round shaft & the P32 is more square.
Another big no no we see is installing P30 Lower ball joints in a P32,it fits the control arm but it's too small for the spindle, consequently making a mess out of a 550.00 spindle.

Geeezz this is giving me a headache. Its 8am do ya think its to early to start drinking?? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>The differences between the "narrow track" and the "wide track" suggest a name change at that time however given the following Workhorse chassis part numbers

Model/Wheelbases
GVW Weight: 15,000 17,000 18,000
P31432 158.8 in.
P31832 178 in. 178 in. 178 in.
P31932 190 in. 190 in. 190 in.
P32032 208 in. 208 in. 208 in.
P32132 xxx.xx. 228 in. 228 in.

What we see here is that there aren't any P30xxx part numbers produced by WCC for either narrow or wide track.

All this suggests is a bit more research on my part regarding the real difference between a P30 and a P32 but we'll get to the bottom of this before too long.

Although in the past we did see mention of "P32" in Workhorse literature and sales information however in the current "2006 Chassis Guide" I haven't found a P30 vs P32 differential explaination. Workhorse simply calls this entire class of chassis, "P Series".

Now Mike Bronzini and I have all the specs for narrow or wide track chassis so if you need some numbers just let us know and one of us should be able to pick up on your request and get back to you here in the forum.

Now lay off the happy sauce until 5:00 but hey! It's 5 o'clock some where!
