What is the OEM Maintenance Schedule for 50K mi
I purchased a 10,000-page service manual download for my 2002 Workhorse with 8.1 L Vortec. Unfortunately, it does not contain Section 0, which includes the schedule. I searched this forum and many others but found no joy in Mudville.
I just purchased a 2003 Georgetown with 47K miles. I am sure the shop will have a list, but I want to research it before making the appointment. I took an extended service contract, and I want to document complete adherence to the OEM specified schedule.
Does anyone have their chassis manual for that era of Vortec?
The download had plenty of OEM exploded diagrams and wiring diagrams for literally every system on the chassis, so if anyone needs one, just let me know.

An internet search came up empty on a maintenance schedule, except link below, for your engine so suggest contacting Chevy customer service at 800-222-1020 for one. In the meantime, I would defer to your rv shop to perform a 50,000-mile inspection and make recommendations on filters, fluids, spark plugs, etc. replacement, wheel bearing packing, brakes replacement besides oil and filter change and tire rotation.

WELCOME to iRV2.com
This link will take you to all sorts of technical info and MAYBE one of the owner's manuals will contain the info you seek: Workhorse Technical Info .
Be sure to select the correct article(s) for you model year and Model number, but don't be afraid to look into other years close to yours, stuff didn't change dramatically after the 8.1L W-22 series was introduced in 2001.

I also have a 2003 Georgetown motorhome on the Workhorse chassis. Mine model 326, a 34' unit.
If you have specific questions concerning the Georgetown let me know and I might be able to help. Of course issues about the Workhorse chassis is more generic and applies to all brands of motorhome.

Cool. I have one basement door latch to fix. It looks straightforward, but I haven't started yet. It feels like the latch lever has disconnected from what must be a rod to the latch. Have you seen this?
If not, I will send pix and details. I'll keep in touch.

Hi Rob,
I've seen a symptom the latch tongue is stuck "in" and the handle has spring tension but doesn't do anything.
If that is the case it is probably gummed up and needs disassembly, cleaning and lubrication.
I think you will have to disassemble the latch to determine the cause.
