Most oil lubed front wheel bearing will look like this ( picture below ) center of the front wheel .

I, know that the Workhorse W-22 chassis used these . not sure about the P series chassis .

Mine doesn't look like it, after I remove the wheel cover there is a cap in the center is it under the cap I didn't know whether to pull that cap off I'm driving from southern California to Georgia and wanted to check the front bearings oil

Can you post a picture of what you have for a cap ?

I'll try and search for info on the P series using " wet front hubs ".

EDIT: All the info I'm finding indicates the P series uses grease packable bearings , that should be repacked at 30,000 miles .

And the diagram below shows a grease cap on the bearings rather than a wet hub cover.

My P32 had conventional greased bearings in the front. These are the same front end parts as a dually pickup truck.

Same here, for my 2002 P32 chassis Safari Trek, grease packed front bearing, oil lubed rear bearing from the differential fluid.

i had mine re packed at truck store while in for service.. when is last time you flushed brake fluid and p/s fluids??? good luck keep us posted and show us your picts if poss..
