Windshield wiper problem

Where should I look for help for windshield wiper wiring diagram to trace a wire short from the switch to the windshield motor on a 2004 workhorse chassis? I know the switch is good and the windshield wiper motor is good.

yes, we ran a new separate toggle switch to the windshield motor. this is a temporary solution to bypass the bad wire.

I need to find the problem and fix it and return to using the normal switch on the column.

do you know if there is a wiring diagram or a method to find the bad wire?
