Workhorse Chassis ID

I have a 2000 fleetwood flair 30H with workhorse chassis 5B4LP37J1Y3318198 with a 7.4L GMC power plant. tag says 2/27/00 is the date on the chassis.

trying to find a schematic for the chassis. radio and other dash electrical does not work.

also wondering about all these recalls, so i guess I need to go to the NHTSA page and check there.

thanks in advance

LOTS of technical info HERE: Workhorse Technical Info but be sure to select the one that is for your specific chassis. Yours is a 2000 model year P32 with 17,000 GVWR and the infamous J71 AAPB.

Like "most" of the P32 chassis, yours had NO RECALLS.

If you want to see the "build sheet" send an email so I can attach it to a reply. edgray1@gmail.com

thanks for the inof! unfortuately workhorse only has schematics back to 2002, so hopefully that one is similar although i read somewhere that workhorse bought out GMC around that time...

AAPB. is that the parking brake that I have luckily NOT been able to damage as of yet?

LOL

thanks again. now off to finding the fleetwood schematic... it seems this issue may be related to the "park/travel" switch on the dash added by them. or a fuse downstream somewhere that I have not yet located....

Yes, AAPB is short for Automatic Apply Parking Brake. You need to learn as mush as possible about that problematic system because in my opinion they only made 2 kinds- the one that has failed and the one that will fail

I doubt you will find the AC refrigerant capacity in any WCC resource because the coach builder completed the system using components not supplied by WCC.
