That 2004 W-20 was sold to FLTW in Riverside, CA. It had 3 recalls and all were completed, including the infamous Bosch brake caliper recall, which was done 3/30/2011 @ 8,319 miles.

I'll be glad to run your vin # and download the "build sheet" for you, HOWEVER, their system requires I enter the last eight (8) digits of the vin #, and there is something wrong with the one you posted. Please double check to see which number is incorrect OR out of place.

Yes, the correct numbers help a lot

That is a 2001 W-22 with 19.5" wheels sold to Fleetwood, Riverside. It had 3 recalls and all were completed, including the Bosch caliper recall, 51101-C, which was done 4/27/2011 @ 19,803 miles.

GREG: That vin is a 2005 model year W-22, born on 12/21/2004 sold to WBGO. It had 2 recalls, both completed, including the Bosch caliper recall 51101-C, which was done on 10/7/2010 @ 14,746 miles. Good luck with your purchase.

B Trouring Cruiser 2007

Hi there, just throwing this out there. I have a new to me 2007 B Touring Cruiser on a chevy workhorse chassis. I don't know much about it, at all. It's in great shape, reasonable mileage now at 42k (I have put 3k on since November 2020). I have no comprehensive service records for it at all but am very happy with its condition. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated, ie, what workhorse chassis is it? I've added it to my CarFax and there's no dealer service record apart from one! I've added everything I've done to it in the last few months. VIN: 1GBJG31U871201141

Thanks!

WELCOME to iRV2.com and the Chevy/Workhorse sub-forum !

The fact that your VIN # begins with "1GB" means you have a GM/Chevy built chassis, which I believe was built in Detroit.

ALL Workhorse built chassis were made in Union City, IN. and they have a Vin # that begins with "5B4".

You are most likely seeing some fender badging that indicates it is a Workhorse, but that is there ONLY because the Workhorse SALES department represented the GM/Chevy chassis offering to the coach builders, because GM didn't have a sales force that called on the RV community.

I'm guessing you have a 14,050 GVWR "cutaway cab" chassis and there is most likely a Chevy "bowtie" on the front grill and perhaps in the center of the steering wheel as well.

Workhorse did not warranty those GM built chassis, and any Chevy / GMC Medium-duty truck center should be able to service / repair it.

YES, you have 2 recalls, including the brake caliper recall that have NOT been done.

I can provide a copy of the "build sheet" showing this and more info about what you need to do as a reply to an email: edgray1@gmail.com
