Hi Tom: That vin is a 2002 model year W-20 (20,700 GVWR) sold to WBGO.
It had 2 recalls, namely both of the "brake recalls" issued by WCC. The first one replaced the slide pins used in the OE Bosch calipers. It was done 12-10-2004 @ 5,172 miles.
When that was determined to not fix the problem, WCC issued 51101-C in September 2010 to replace all four calipers with an improved version also made by Bosch. That recall was done 6-1-2015 @ 7,603 miles. There are no other recalls issued for that chassis.
Since the last recall, WCC wants the DOT 3 brake fluid replaced every 2 years, regardless of mileage because it accumulates moisture. Regular use of the brakes to heat up and "evaporate" some of the entrained moisture MAY allow you to extend the drain interval to 3 years, IMO. Fresh brake fluid is cheap insurance to help prevent "boiling" the fluid, creating a loss of braking ability.
Safe travels !

That vin is a 2001 W-20 (GVWR=20,700 pounds). It had 3 recalls, both of the "brake recalls" were done 6-21-2012 @ 5,623 miles.
The open recall is to check the torque on the rear axle U bolts, but unless you hear rattling or see movement in the rear axle, I would assume they are OK.
If you want the build sheet, send me an email so I can attach it to a reply: edgray1@gmail.com

Hi Edgray
Could you run a VIN for me 5b4mpa7g76341739
I have not seen the coach yet as it is 300 miles away. The ad says it has air suspension. I know it was an option in 07.
Just wondering if parts for that system are hard to find.
Thanks
Jake

Please double check the vin #. That one is only 16 digits, should be 17 total, and the system won't recognize the last eight digits, so I'm thinking that one of the last eight is missing.

Hello Edgray,
Would you be so kind as to run a search on this chassis: 5B4MPA7G063415967. Thank you very much for your time.
Tony.

Welcome to iRV2.com !
You didn't say what you want it scanned for, but assuming you want to know about the "brake recall" you may have heard about, please know that NONE of the W-24 chassis were subject to it.
That specific 2006 W-24 had 2 recalls and both were completed back in 2006. It has the J72 AAPB, but otherwise is a great chassis, IMO.
Ed

Thank you Ed ...
... and yes, it's been a fantastic chassis. No major issues. A couple of preventive maintenance actions just to keep it running smoothly:
- Spark plugs, wires and fuel filter
- Transmission fluid and filter replacement
- Drive shaft ujoints replaced - noisy going uphills
- MAP sensor - engine hesitating on occasion
Other than that all my other issues are related to typical RV issues. It's nearly 16 years old. I'm hopeful I can keep it going another 16. It's too damn expensive to buy another MH, and the quality just isn't there.
Thanks again,
Tony

Most likely yours is like mine. It is an F73-1020 BCC made by RV Custom Products. Hopefully you can find just the lid. the two latches are easily available.
Rev has a new one but it is $115.
Visone RV salvage has complete boxes so maybe they have just the lid too.
