Can anyone provide me with the emails of the president and VP's of workhorse.....?
I seem to be getting a runaround from them...
I'm just recovering from the heart attack that occurred when I received the bill for repairs on my exhaust manifold ( yes, I'm being facetious;; , on a '04 Adventurer with 10k miles on it
One can expect problems with vehicle, but I believe there is a certain level of expectation when it comes to product reliability. IE : the life of an exhaust manifold....
I'm told that there has been failures from to much heat buildup, and the " aftermarket" fix ..... the fan system they have ....
from Workhorse is a 50/50 chance of actually doing any good
I would like to contact Mr David Olsen et al.... to voice an opinion and get an explanation on why something like that would fail with that kind of mileage..........
I can at least vent to them............ I know, I don't really expect any kind of remediation or " free replacement" but we are allowed to voice an opinion !

I had a simular problem -broken studs and a leaking gasket. I was told it was from driving during the winter on roads that had been salted. I drove to the coast and down I5 to the south. Lets get real with the BS people (Workhorse).
I put on a Banks set of Torque tubes to prevent the problem fom happening again.

JCM,
That's my plan too-- If I ever have need to do manifold repairs the "Banks" system is going on, Fast!,

The exhaust manifolds are a component of the emission control system and the effective warranty period is different than the 3/36 powertrain warranty. You may want to check your owner's manual.

I also feel some, if not 100%, of the problem is the result of insufficient air flow around the engine on some coach designs. Most Wxx owners have never had burent spark plug wires yet a few have and this is known to be a coach design issue not a Workhorse issue. As I have read very little about manifold problems on the W series (as apposed to mountains of problems on F53 Ford engines) I expect this is not a common problem.
