Dale,

Is it that you are trying to find the Cheapest part's price, or are we trying to get a stranded coach back on the road?? I am confused on your post's. Also If you guys get into this situation, I can find the part number, get it crossed with my resources and then get you something to use locally. Please keep my cell number(541-441-0377) on file as I have it on 24/7, I will do my best to help you even if we don't sell you anything!

Where are all of the Good customer service stories regarding Workhorse?? It's easy for everybody to jump on the Bandwagon and Dump on Workhorse, But I know of many Great things the Workhorse does for Customers, and we NEED to hear from them as well!!

My purpose of putting up a cross reference parts listing is 2 fold.

1) Provide a source other the Workhorse for parts so that the person in need of a part can get back on the road asap.

2) Provide a price the is commensurate with the part. So, depending on where you get the part it my be higher or even lower. But at least you will have an idea of cost.

I agree that parts availability and cost are only 1 issue.

I have had the regional Workhorse rep drive out to look at a problem (couldn't update the cluster on a recall).

The same rep got me a lower radiator shroud shipped to my door when I found that the fan blades were eating a hole in the shroud.

I have also had me display replaced twice... 1 in warranty and 1 out of warranty.

As part numbers may change from time to time and since you are an excellent service resource for Workhorse customers, your offer to assist owners with cross referencing parts on a 24/7 basis is outstanding! This is so much better than any list.

If we had an iRV2.com Gold Sponsorship Award you guys would be one of the top candidates in the category.

You know, I've been following this thread along the way and I gotta tell you, this is the silliest thing I have ever heard of. As soon as this entry-level person couldn't help my wife, I would have taken over and moved up the ladder of command 'till I found someone that could. And I would never just take the word of some clerk at the factory, or a supply center either, any of them. This isn't a workhorse problem, this is a people problem. Where there's a breakdown you have to work thru it until you get satisfaction. Smart move to call Brazel's, bet decision you could have made.

And per Mike's request, I also gotta say that before there were WH chassis we had crap to deal with. Low GVW's, poor handling, sagging springs, 454 or 460 v8's with carburators, 3 speed auto trans that couldn't handle the load, low tankage capacities, no slides.... I could go on but you get the idea. The coaches these days are light years from what had even 10-15 years ago.

All this whining about parts distribution from Workhorse. As far as I'm concerned, they're a chassis builder, and that's it. They don't 'make' parts, they buy them. With some digging one should be able to find chevy parts, spicer parts, bosch parts, motoraid, all the various suppliers for components to workhorse. Yeah, a cross referrence would be invalueble.
