It's that time of the year again for me to Re New all my insurance policies. In addition to the normal insurance I carry I am renewing my Roadside assistance also. I am confused as to the Workhorse Roadside assistance Package that came with the purchase of my Motorhome. I have read on differant forums and websites that people have called Workhorse and recieved Towing , Tire changeing and the likes from Workhorse. However when I called Workhorse I was told that They only do reimbursment and I would need to locate and call my own wrecker service. They said that most people buy another Roadside service such as Good Sam , which I have already have. But it seems to me maybe I am paying for something that I already have from Workhorse. It seem to me that the person I was talking to at Workhorse was discouraging me from calling them for assistance. Now maybe I have misinterpted what those other people have posted but if any one can clarifiy the Workhorse Roadside Assistance for me I should would apprciate it. Just trying to watch my $$$ and pay for my fuel. Thanks

I was towed last April in PA.to a Chev dealer 50 miles no problem from WH. in fact very helpful. They called tow service an double checked in morning, said service was on the way. Should get same service for three years. ---"007"

007,

I agree. I had a brake problem (remember the recall) and called WH. They were very polite and efficient. Since mine was not an emergency tow they arranged a tow to the nearest WH facility (60 miles) and took care of all the paperwork. All I had to do was put up with the MH being in the shop for 3 days. Was your's a "right now" kind of tow problem?

Unless things have changed, WCC has a dollar limit on towing if the unit was built after Jan 2004. I believe the limit is between $350.00-450.00.
