Don’t put LEDs in the stock reflector housing. All you’ll do is blind oncoming drivers. Find out what kind of headlamp assemblies they are (some manuf use automobile headlamps) then see if there is an aftermarket set that has the projector housing built in to the housing. You should only put LEDs in projector housings.

I put LED bulbs in my stock housing and do not glare the oncoming traffic. I made sure the headlights were aimed properly. They are much brighter and have good cutoff patterns.

I took the numbers off the front lens of our '14 Southwind and purchased replacement LED bulbs. A simple plug and play with remarkable results.
Amazon approx $70.

Have you ever driven towards your RV at night?

My jeep with factory low beam LED headlights are a little challenging for oncoming cars mostly because the headlights are so high off the ground. Before you start ragging on about "lifted" vehicles my Jeep is dead stock as delivered by Fiat Chrysler. Approaching my motorhome after I install LED headlights will be much less challenging than the jeep simply because the headlights are at least a foot lower. It goes without saying that all concerns about blinding oncoming drivers are indeed right on target where the high beams are concerned. it is impossible to aim the high beams in so that they do not blind oncoming drivers and sill have them aimed to be useful.

I installed H9 LED replacement bulbs on my 2018 Thor ACE 30.3. I took the extra step of comparing the old light pattern to the new Light patterns. Except for the brighter light there was no difference in the low or high beam light patterns. I parked the motorhome on the flat level side street by my house and parked my Jeep Gladiator abt 200 ft in front of the motorhome. Both the old and new low beam bulbs had the top of the light pattern just above the rear bumper on the left side with the right-side pattern a little above the taillight. In both the old halogen and the new LED bulbs the high beam would blind oncoming driver with the LED lights being much brighter.

Does yours have the projector housings? I think it does, in which case LEDs are perfectly fine for it.

The low beam is a projector housing, but the High Beam is a reflector housing. In any case I saw no difference other than brightness in the output light pattern for either the Low or High beams.

Mine is the same way. The low beam projector with the LED is amazing with the light output as well as having the definite cutoff line. The high beam is only used without oncoming traffic so those are OK with the reflector housing and LEDs.

I went from dreading driving at night to being completely relaxed when driving at night.
