With f53 chassis, parking brake illuminates and turns off upon turn on of ignitionsw. but does not illum. when parking brake is actually pressed.
Been underneath and checked all elec. conn. all good.
Any ideas?

Attached find a DRL diagram that contains the rudiments of the parking brake illumination circuit. The symptoms point to a faulty parking brake switch or connection to same.
