1992 F53 electrical question

Did someone ever see diode connection between brake light and cruise control on switch cause i always have 5.1 volt on brake light socket when i turn the key on, and why they soldier yellow blue and violet wires to that plug

No, where does the purple wire go?

I'm guessing it was put in to isolate the rig brake light and the toad brake light.

but they should been put the diode in the back of the rig under the bed there is a junction box with all the wire for the hitch and tail brake maybe i should put the diode over there instead of putting it in front of the rig i'll try to find electrical wiring diagram for my 1992 F53 chassis but it's hard to find thanks

It certainly doesn't look factory to me. I'm guessing someone added it at some point to fix a problem. Looks like to me the green wire was original, and the purple wire was added. But it could just be the perspective.
