1996 Ford F53 Hydroboost question

Hello all, hoping someone can shed some light on my problem.
My RV is a 1997 Rexhall RexAir (chassis is 1996 Ford F53 with E4OD and 7.5L).
My Hydroboost has been leaking for some time from the 'weep hole' where the MC bolts up to the unit, but has always worked well. No issues with PS or PB at all, and luckily I haven't needed to use the brakes with the engine off (So I've no idea if the accumulator works).
When I disassembled it, I found that I didn't have a 'check valve ball' in the 'accumulator check valve' assembly. I know that the diagram is supposed to cover all Bendix Hydroboost units, so it's a general list of components and where they should go. I did watch a video where someone with what looks like my model of Hydroboost assembled his unit and forgot the ball, and the accumulator ripped the pedal rod ball out of the input shaft socket. So I'm a little afraid that my unit isn't assembled correctly, even though it's always worked well.
Does anyone know if the 1996 Ford F53 had a special Hydroboost that didn't need that check ball?
Otherwise I'm off to visit some local junk yards to see if I can find a Hydroboost unit to compare with mine.

Gonna solve my own mystery, maybe it'll help someone.
I was reading some threads where other would-be hydroboost DIY rebuild people were puzzled at the absence of the ball in the assembly.
It's HIDDEN IN THE YELLOW THING.

So no worries, it's there, it's just stealthy. You can find some diagrams that have this part labeled as a 'two-function valve'
