2001 e450 - Sumo springs in rear with Firestone bags?

Can I run both the sumo springs (ssr-107-54?) In the rear, along with the Firestone ride right helper springs (fsn-21-9015) on my 2001 E450 chassis? Or do the sumos mount in the same spot as the bags do?

Or is it even worth it since I have the ride rites already?

This is just my opinion and as such isn't worth much!

The air springs and the sumo springs essentially do the same thing. They are both supplemental springs for the springs on the vehicle.

I suspect that adjusting the air pressure in your air springs is you best option.

By the way, what are you trying to achieve by adding Sumo Springs?

Smooth out the ride and reduce the side-to-side motion. Which from what I've been reading, the sumo springs do a great job of. I have them ordered for the front (hope to install this weekend or next). But wasn't sure if its worth it, or even optional for the back with the addition of the Ride-Rites.

Already did a full Koni FSD change on all 4 corners, and replaced the Steering Dampener (which the old one was completely shot). And that's made a HUGE improvement.

Hard to do both, softer springs for smoother ride, stiffer springs for less side to side. Sumos and air bags makes your springs stiffer and reduce sway.

Adding Sumos side by side to your existing airbags would be pretty much the same as just adding more air pressure to your airbags. Airbags are like adjustable Sumos. Sumos usually mount where your airbags would so doubt you could add both easily but there is no reason to, waste of money.
