2021 E-450 Cruise Control & Hill Start Assist

I activated my cruise control yesterday and all I got was a grayed out icon with the with word "Set" on it. Soon that went away and the steering wheel buttons did nothing.

I then pulled into town, came to a stop, and I got a warning screen that said, "Hill Start Assist not working".

I'm a thousand miles from home a month into a 3 month trip. I'm awaiting a callback from the Ford dealer where I get it serviced and another where I'm at.

My main question is can I continue this trip or should I take it in ASAP?

Is there something I can check or do?
Are these issues related?

I looked through the manual and fuse diagrams but couldn't find one labeled for these.

All too common a problem. Just continue on your way and hope (like me) that at some point in the near future Ford has a fix for this BS.

System resets after shutdown of 1-2 minutes. Cruise gets knocked off along will hill assist in most wimpy crosswinds.

S in the interim, it's just a royal pain in the ass.
