Ground pin#6 of the self-test plug and turn the key to the run position. The fuel pump relay should click (make) and the fuel pump should run.
Also make sure the Inertia switch is not tripped as you test the circuit with a loading test light (non led).

Whichever ground is most convenient for you. The frame or a chassis bolt for example, but sometimes paint/dirt/rust can make such a connection unreliable for testing so a wire direct to a negative battery terminal is best.
May I take it you're a bit new to motor vehicle type troubleshooting?
