95 Ford Pace Arrow falls on its face
hello folks, I'm new on here and am extremely frustrated and could use some help!!!! So I will start with my problem and then list everything done so far. Recently purchased a 95 Pace Arrow, super clean with approximately 55,000 on it. The mh had been sitting for several years and I'm very mechanically inclined so I thought no problem! Initially we had to put in a new fuel pump so I did the turbine upgrade, drove it home approximately 60 miles and no problem. Driving an additional 30 combined miles, while fixing a few minor things, it started this thing where it randomly. falls on its face while driving. It's almost as if it's starving for fuel, if a very small amount of throttle is applied it will continue on, anything more and it completely bogs down and has zero power. Now here is the kicker, after reading another post, I found that if I turn off the ignition and start it right back up it acts just fine for another few miles and does the same thing.
list of new parts:
ICM
New distributor, cap and rotor
plug wires
map sensor
fuel pressure regulator
egr(whole assembly)
upgraded turbine pump and harness
new relays
new battery and checked all grounds
new fuel filter
we put a fuel pressure gauge on today and drove, at fuel rail it is reading around 25, it drops to around 10 when it falls on its face. if left to just idle (which it does fine) the fuel pressure increasingly. drops.
did I get a faulty fuel pump? or is there something else that im missing

Check the Irv2 Ford chassis owner's forum as problems like this are solved there all the time. There are some great mechanics that monitor the site

ECM grounding
Check the grounding on your ECM. Fords are famous for this being a cause for those symptoms you described.
Good luck, Just Another Old Doggy, Don

First thing I would do is take off the filter you replaced, cut it open and inspect. if clogged, replace, repeat as necessary until fuel is clean. Then follow the fuel lines all the way from the tank to the fuel rail, looking for another filter.
I think you'll find another fuel filter somewhere that you are missing. Runs fine until enough "stuff" builds up on the filter, when shut off, it falls off of the filter media, start it again, it soon builds up again and starves the engine for fuel. Fuel filter may be at tank, possibly IN the tank, although rare, but I suspect there is another filter. All you symptoms point to a clogged filter . . . Good luck, and please report back what you find.

You have a bad fuel pump.
I am not a fan of the upgraded turbine pump as others on here have had the same problem by doing so.
I hope the ICM you replaced was a Black one and not the wrong gray one.
If you put the gray one on replace it with a black one as your RV is not wired for the gray one. Also your PCM is not made to work with the gray one.
Note that most auto part stores and Ford dealers will try to sell you the wrong gray one.

It is indeed the gray one, what is the difference or the part number for the black one? Orielly is completely dependant upon their computer, and not usually able to wing it to find the right part.

Fords almost always have more than one filter, usually one hidden somewhere in the frame rail. Follow the fuel line from the tank to the engine

The only one I've found was on the frame rail, and the strainer filter on the tank pump. I will double check this afternoon. But am leaning toward a faulty pump. But I did also install the grey ICM, does anyone have the part number for the black ICM?

Just tell O'rielly you have a 1995 Mustang with a 5.0L engine.
Then they will give you the right Black ICM.
It would also be wise to get a Motorcraft brand ICM.
