A/C 3/4" suction line part number please 2015 F53.

2015 F53 chassis, under 2016 Fleetwood Bounder 33C. A large 3/4" A/C suction routing from the compressor to the Air Exchanger has chafed through on some weird looking fastener dumping all refrigerant and oil. Please see attachment. I cant find this part, or part number online so can some of you F53 veterans chime in please. Thank you

Does the line disconnect from the expansion valve or is the part you need part of a paired hose package ? Both pressure and suction from the expansion valve , pressure to the dryer and suction back to the compressor .

No detail in your pictures of the expansion valve attachment.

The P/N on the hose is probably for, bulk hose only, that is supplied to the system manufacturer who cuts it to length and installs the ends .

The system tag on the plastic housing next to the hose could provide info on the dash system manufacturer and that manufacturer could be the supplier of the hose ( with fittings ).

More Pics

Skip....thanks for the help

It looks like the hose disconnects at both ends by loosening the coupling nut.

There is also a picture of the weird fasteners used which created this issue.

Thanks again!

Weird fasteners ; AKA ; flag nuts . Used, so the installer starts the nut on the threads, he doesn't need a wrench on both sides to finish the installation and tightening of the bolt .

Remember now the A/C system has been opened it must be properly vacuumed out to remove all moisture or the compressor will be short lived .

The hose being a little long to start with , if possible the hose splice is a good idea.

Other wise Comfort Aire is a supplies for Evans/Tempcon system parts.

In our 2015 Thor Windsport the A/C system is a mix/marriage of Ford and Evans parts. I would not surprised that Fleetwood did the same thing. See if you can determine what brand the heat exchanger and fan assembly are and then try to get a schematic of the whole system. Good luck

Any decent AC shop can fix this in an hour or so of labor and do it without replacing the entire hose ($$$) by just making some new ends on the hose at the damage - might even be able to do it in place.

Then they can properly change out the desiccant pack, vacuum the system and recharge it. You probably are looking at about $300 total on the high side for all that, versus $300 JUST for 50' of hose.

Very likely the hose is a Fleetwood provided part. Ford has no idea how long to make a hose considering all the different locations access all the makes and models rigs built on the F53 chassis. Fleetwood probably sourced the hose from Evans Tempcon and be ready for a possible sticker shock.
