An after market kit? The business model considering R&D, material, manufacturing and other costs spread out over potential limited sales volume will be a very high cost for the potential buyer. Plus once the lawyers get involved with the potential liability of a system failure,,,. Keep in mind the software and hardware of what you can get from the factory on your daily driver is all proprietary so any developer will be starting from scratch.
Ford might start producing chassis with the capabilities one of these years. Probably the next generation that replaces the current V8 configuration. A 12-15 MPG hybrid would sure be nice. It might be expensive due to lack of production scale for the F53/59 chassis but who knows. More likely to show up on an E series cut-a-way class C first. Same for the hybrid idea.
