advice on ford dually rims

I got a 2001 ford e350 class C with duallys.

I need to get a spare.
I bought one with the correct bolt pattern but when i got it home for a closer inspection I can see the center hole is smaller than the ones on my RV
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
I would have thought that all ford dually's were the same.
I got one with same bolt pattern but a smaller center hole.
Are the front rims different than the back rims by chance? I would assume that all 6 rims would be the same.
Any info would be appreciated.

I can't say about your F350 but I bought a new motorhome with an F53 chassis in late 2001. The chassis was from 2000. It had a tag axle. I had a fit trying to get the tires properly balanced and a smooth ride but that's a long story. Back then, the wheels were not hub centric or lug centric. The bolt holes came in 4 different sizes. I bought a set of alignment pins to put on over the studs to help center the wheels. The set had 4 different size pins. I don't remember when Ford finally fixed this but it was a mess for me. There was a TSB covering how to properly balance the tires and mount the on the chassis. A Hunter GSP9700 wheel balancer was required to ensure the tire and wheel assembly was within specs. Ford replaced at least 5 of the 9 wheels (I had a spare) it came with. The size was 19.5-245R70. Besides the 5 wheels, between me and Ford, more than 9 of the tires were replaced. Some of the replacements had to be replaced. They were Goodyear 670RV. I've never bought another one since.

Good luck with those wheels. See if there's a TSB about them or balancing.
