Air Cleaner Filter

Came across a weird one, probably no big deal, but took out air cleaner to replace it, and it showed a part number on it as; MOTOCRAFT BC34-9601-BA. The manual and a call to FORD verified the correct replacement is a FA 1782. I could not locate any cross reference, hope Ford is correct.
Appreciate any comments.

You can check the owner manual. They normaly list airfilter part numbers. You could be looking at a filter PN that is only found at the factory when they built the chassis and the owner manual will list the replacment.

I have the Ford V10 Triton engine.

I’m guessing you might have the Godzilla V8?

I use the FRAM Extra Guard Air Filter

I would guess the number on the filter is a factory only number. Being a '22 I am assuming this is the first time you have changed it. I've seen that even on farm equipment.
