Beware of counterfeit Koni FSD shocks on Amazon

Someone in another thread posted that they had installed these slightly less expensive Baufon Auto front shocks on their F53. The description even says its "Frequency Selective Damping" and uses the exact Koni part number as their part number.

I emailed Koni and they responded in a few hours that these are counterfeit. See the pic.

The real Koni FSDs on Amazon are price-gouging. SuperSteer has the real ones for far less than the Amazon price some people are asking.

The counterfeit link: https://www.amazon.com/Baufon-8805-1...1PG/ref=sr_1_1

Good to point this out. The Amazon review rating should be good enough to give pause. When purchasing from Amazon, I normally skip anything that has a rating under 4.
