Brake parking light ??

My parking break light seems to not go off? It has an icon under the word break that is an (I) and (P) ! The parking break is for sure not on this is a 1990 Pace Arrow, I am thinking this year light will not be more smarter than to simply be a light switch and no other indicator of issues other than the break is on? Is my assumption that the switch is simply bad correct?

I not sure about your brake system. Some systems will give brake warning light when pressure in the system is not detected.. such as leaking brake fluid... i would advise having it checked.

LOL. It's been like that since the 60's.

But brake fluid doesn't evapourate or just go away on its own. If you were low it means you have a leak. Don't wait to find out the hard way where the leak is!

Not necessarily......the fluid level in the reservoir of a hydraulic brake system drops as the pads or shoes wear away.

The mechanic said if it persist to come back an check out where it is going. I feel with the light warning it will keep me in a safe zone and I have a bottle of brake fluid.
