Broken wheel stub
I have a 2002 Winnebago Brave on a 2001 Ford F53 chassis. On a recent trip lugs nuts on driver side front wheel became loose and broke a stud. The break was clean and I was able to put a new lug nut on. Lug nut stayed tight on 1000 mile trip home. My question is: Ok to leave this way or do I need a new wheel stud? Is replacing a stud a DIY job?
Never leave home without checking all lugs first!!

If all the nuts were loose to the point where one wheel stud broke, JMHO replace all the studs on that side, they have all been stressed and I wouldn't trust them.
What torque spec are you using ?
Stud replacement will require removing the rotor, is that something you would be comfortable doing?

I torqued to 145 once I got home (19.5 wheels). All I had was lug wrench on trip. Sound like a job for my mechanic. Time is a problem but so is my limited abilities.

145 ftlbs. is that the spec?
When I was working we had the contract to service an ambulance fleet, of E-350's , If memory services they were 175 on 16" wheels.
Of course I'm used to Workhorse and Freightliner, now. 425 & 450ftlbs on 22.5's

Find the right torque setting-torque to specs-re-torque at 100 miles.
My bet is, you (or someone else)paid someone to improperly torque them, and that is how you got where you are
Keep an eye on all of them

I too would recommend replacing them all.

The standard torque for the F-53 19.5" rims is 150 Ft/Lbs. That will change if you have aluminum but not to many have aluminum.

If they all came loose and one failed the question will remain - How far behind are the rest? Best to replace them all to keep everything uniform and the hub in balance.
How much damage was there to the rim? That will need to be inspected and put on a spin balancer to verify it is still able to run true.

The original owners manual set the lug nut spec to 140 - 155 ft. lbs. In 2001 the torque was increased to 150 - 165 ft. lbs. If you are the original owner you should have gotten a letter from Ford with the 2 decals. One explained the torque increase. The other raised the minimum tire pressure from 70 psi to 75 psi.

Is this a hub entered wheel, or is it centered by the studs?
I ask this because it makes a big difference as to the need for replacement of the remaining studs.
If you have a hub centered wheel this means the wheel is not pushing and exerting radial pressure on the studs, the lugs are holding the wheel on and exerting pressure in only one direction and that's to keep the wheel tight against the hub.
You found a lug missing as I'm understanding your post. With a hub centered wheel, all you need to do is replace the missing lug nut, inspect and torque all your lug nuts.
If your coach has lug centered wheels, then yes replace the complete set on that wheel for your safety, they have been weakened.
