Anybody know what a converter for a 2002 F53 sells for? Mine was stolen from the storage lot. I fixed it with a piece of 3" tubing, but thinking of putting in a clam for it. Thanks..

Sorry to hear that Drag. Can't help you on cost but can tell you are not alone on this. Big write-up in the local paper re. dealerships, public transportation parking lots and industrial area's all reporting cat converters being sawsall'd off vehicles.
This place has sure gone crazy!!!!

Just my opinion and what I've heard_, CAT's are from $700 to $1,300 depending on what it fits. Indianapolis had an outbreak of CAT thefts last year. The City/County administration passed a law requiring scrap dealers to report every CAT they bought that was not installed on a vehicle when they bought it. Amazingly CAT thefts stopped.
Now it's gas/diesel fuel thefts. Punch a hole in the tank bottom, catch what they can, allow the rest to drain onto the pavement.
