Chasis battery replacement, FLA to AGM

Time to replace factory battery BXT-65-750 OE from 11/13. I am looking to go with a AGM, according to Ford tech line should be no problem.....? Just checking to see if anyone has done this and if there were any issues? I am going to get a Interstate either the MTZ65 or MTX65 don't know if worth the extra $ to go with the MTZ65. I bought my 2000 Ford E450 class C and it had a new AGM start battery in it.
Don't remember the brand.

It came with standard flooded house batteries, which I switched to flooded 6 volt batteries, and all was good for the 4 years I had it.

Why do you want AGM now, you seemed to get good service from the original battery.

I can get AGM for cost, the AGM can take more of a beating than than FLA. The AGM is only about $20.00 more. It has a little less CCA than FLA.

I won't use anything other than AGM batteries in my motorhomes. I currently have an Interstate AGM chassis battery which is 5 years old. The only battery I have had to replace was a 2 year old flooded cell battery.

I replaced the Ford engine battery with a pair of Lifeline GPL-24Ts it gives better cranking power, and runs the hydraulic jacks, and other loads with ease. They work well with the 4 Lifeline L16s (800AHs) house battery bank. Their battery characteristics and charging are similar and the solar and/or Magnum MS 2812 inverter charger keeps both banks fully charged. Also, no corrosion and need to add water to the batteries.

Last spring replace a Sam's Club Duracell group 65 sealed lead acid battery that lasted 9 years with the same. Used as a chassis battery a low cost sealed battery has worked well for my needs.
