Cruse control not working

I have a 2007 Fleetwood fiesta with a ford chassis. Ladt year I replaced the rear tires and don't know if it's just a coincidence but my cruse control no longer works. Any ideas?

Everything else works? Speedometer? Horn? Brake lights?

Your 2007 cruise system doesn't have a lot of parts. There is no servo or brain, it uses the electric throttle. All the system really is is switches.

If the speedometer is working you need to check, on or near the master cylinder, a pressure switch with two fuse harness running to it.

If 1 of the 2, 2 amp fuse's is blown, the pressure switch is bad.

The switch is called the Cruise Control Cancel Switch.

If it don't have the 2 fuse harness, it has missed the recall and needs to be done. It is a fire hazard.

The fix is to replace the switch and the fuse. Do not put bigger fuse's in !!

NAPA carries the switch, it is # CCS1. $25.

Have the new one in hand as you remove the old one. Screw one out and the other in. No bleeding needed.
