Dump silencer

Can I add a 1/2 hose to end of dump silencer to extend it under chassis frame.
The air valve relieves positive pressure through this silencer. The noice drives wife crazy. Thanks

When the computer is not using the air pump for anything it lets (dumps) the unwanted air out in front of the radiator through a muffler.
